  • Das Käfer-Modelljahr wechselt jeweils im August: „ab Bj. 08/67" heißt ab Modelljahr 1968.
  • 1302 (Bj. 08/70–07/72) und 1303 (ab 08/72): langer Vorderwagen, Federbein-Vorderachse, Schräglenker-Hinterachse.
  • Standard-Käfer: kurzer Vorderwagen, Kugelgelenk-Vorderachse, meist Pendelachse.
  • Cabrio: basiert ab 1971 auf 1302/1303.

Description

The radiator is a custom production and is only available from us in this form. It is of high-quality workmanship and "made in Germany". The size of the radiator is designed so that the front area of the spare wheel well must be removed, but the trunk board stays at its original height. Thanks to the compact design, the radiator is installed upright, which reduces difficulties with bleeding the system. The height and depth of the radiator are optimally matched and, in combination with the three racing Spal fans, exploit the maximum that is achievable while keeping the stock look, to 100%. Through front slots in the front closing panel, the complete surface of the radiator can be used. The radiator core comes from the racing sector and is made of brass, which makes it more stable and less prone to damage. Should the core nevertheless be damaged, it can be repaired, in contrast to aluminum radiators. In addition, in front of the radiator for the engine circuit sits a second radiator for the intercooler (water-cooled). Price and delivery time on request.
