Description
With this adapter you can fit a mushroom air filter directly to the mass air flow sensor of your Subaru engine. Especially with an engine swap to a Subaru engine in a VW Beetle or T3 bus, space in the engine bay is tight, and that is exactly where the advantage lies: the intake takes up less space, sounds better and delivers a bit more power.

The adapter may also fit other Subaru models. To check, compare the part number on your mass air flow sensor. The outer diameter of the hose fitting is 82 mm.
Only the adapter is supplied, without air filter and without mass air flow sensor.
The adapter is a Knepper in-house development from our own conversion work in Rahden: for the Subaru drivetrain in the Beetle and T3, many parts are simply not available to buy, so we make them ourselves.
