Manufacturer information from Zanzinger: Product information "Air filter box suitable for VW T3 for Subaru EJ22-25 conversion, version with 2 clips" With our air filter housing you have the possibility to realize a functioning and at the same time visually appealing air filter solution in the simplest way and without improvisation when installing a Subaru EJ22/25 in the VW Bus T3. This version is suitable for the variant with 2 clips (Subaru part number AC53AC09). The special highlight is that the original housing upper part as well as the Subaru air filter element are reused. This eliminates the often complex adaptation of the air flow meter. In addition, using the original Subaru air filter usually makes the registration of an engine conversion much easier. Our air filter housing is made of rustproof stainless steel and designed so that, with little adaptation effort, the complete original intake from the turbo diesel in the left ear can be used (part no. intake hose from the turbo diesel with integrated intake silencer 129 535 251 or also suitable from the WBX without intake silencer 129 535 25A A). This way the engine not only always receives clean but also cool intake air, which in turn benefits performance. Attention: the clips are not included in the scope of delivery and must be taken over from the Subaru lower part. Scope of delivery: 1 piece stainless steel air filter box lower part, incl. mounting brackets, vibration dampers and other mounting hardware. Attention: the original Subaru plastic upper part as well as the clips are not included in the scope of delivery and must be taken over from the donor vehicle.
