  • Das Käfer-Modelljahr wechselt jeweils im August: „ab Bj. 08/67" heißt ab Modelljahr 1968.
  • 1302 (Bj. 08/70–07/72) und 1303 (ab 08/72): langer Vorderwagen, Federbein-Vorderachse, Schräglenker-Hinterachse.
  • Standard-Käfer: kurzer Vorderwagen, Kugelgelenk-Vorderachse, meist Pendelachse.
  • Cabrio: basiert ab 1971 auf 1302/1303.

Description

The throttle cable can be hooked into the normal accelerator pedal at the front and is hooked into the throttle body with a screw nipple. The throttle cable sleeve is crimped to the right length and can be pushed onto the original throttle cable tube on the chassis. The cable is supplied longer and must be shortened depending on the routing, accelerator pedal and position of the bracket. We recommend soldering the end (a standard soldering iron with solder is sufficient), but it also works without. The bracket can be built yourself, or our alternator bracket with throttle cable mount can be used.
