When converting your Beetle to the Porsche 944 brake, the original handbrake cable connection no longer fits. This set solves exactly that problem: it is a conversion kit that connects the handbrake cable to the 944 brake so that the handbrake works properly again after the conversion.
With our version, part of the handbrake cable spring (about half) is cut off and removed.
Important: The set only fits steel semi-trailing arms. A version with silver anodized adapter sleeves is also available in our shop.
The adapter kit is a Knepper in-house development from our conversion work in Rahden: there are no off-the-shelf parts for the 944 brake in the Beetle, so we make the missing connecting pieces ourselves.
