Description
With these adapter rings you install a Bilstein shock absorber (our item KT 02 011) in a strut with a 52 mm damper tube. The rings are made of plastic and compensate for the difference between the damper and the strut tube so the damper sits cleanly in the tube. Supplied as a set.
Please note: The strut's closure caps still need to be widened so the damper rod fits.
The adapter rings are a Knepper in-house development from our suspension work in Rahden: If you want to fit better dampers into the original Beetle strut, there is no ready-made solution for it, so we built one. The focus is on function and durability, not pure tuning.
