Description
The cup brace support for the frame fork provides significantly higher rigidity in the rear area of the vehicle and prevents the so-called engine hop, which can occur especially with high-powered vehicles or under high loads. At the same time, bending of the frame forks is prevented. The additional support reduces movements of the drive unit and feeds the forces better into the chassis, which improves power transfer.
The braces are CNC-machined from high-quality aluminum and have a bright-turned surface that combines a high-quality look with high dimensional accuracy. Thanks to their low weight and high stability, they are ideal for high-powered street cars as well as for motorsport.
Suitable for VW Beetle and VW Karmann Ghia.
Note: On vehicles with standard heater boxes, space problems can occur depending on the version. In these cases, modification work or a different exhaust system is required.
Installation note: The brackets are assembled in the vehicle, aligned and then welded. In addition, the brackets must be welded to the gearbox crossmember. The threads of the braces must be carefully greased before installation to prevent the aluminum threads from seizing and to ensure trouble-free adjustment.
